Did you know Apple has an iPhone upgrade plan? This was news to me. This plan is perfect for anyone who always wants the most recent iPhone and can afford it. I am sure my best friend has this plan as he has the new everything when it comes to technology!
The first step is to enroll in the iPhone Upgrade Program and start making monthly payments ($40 and up depending on the amount of storage you need) for a year. Once the last payment is made, you will receive a new iPhone.
If you decide to stay in the program, you simply continue to make the monthly payments, and you will get a new iPhone each year.
There are a few other benefits in addition to an annual brand-new iPhone:
- Your iPhone is covered by AppleCare+ at no additional cost
- The phones sold under this plan are unlocked, which means any carrier can activate it immediately
For some people, this is a great deal; for others, maybe not when you do the math. In the end though, it is great to have this option as carriers are moving away from providing phones.
