Join Network 1 at the Party of the Year: CVI’s True Blue Do

CVI True Blue Do 2016Here at Network 1, we’re all about having a good time. That’s one reason we’re sponsoring and enthusiastically anticipating an upcoming event hosted by our wonderful client, the Center for the Visually Impaired (CVI). CVI throws an annual party that is not to be missed: their True Blue Do!

This year’s event, their 13th, is called Night Visions. It will be held on Saturday, May 7, 2016 at Mason Fine Art, located at 415 Plasters Ave NE, Atlanta, from 6:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. The festivities will feature select works from two exhibitions that explore vision in unique ways: Billy Howard and Laurie Shock’s Blind/Sight, Conversations with the Visually Impaired and Stephanie Eley’s Invisible to Others.

Besides the artwork, attendees will enjoy delicious food, cocktails, silent and live auctions, the opportunity to “Flip for a Trip” to win round-trip airline tickets, an oversized, interactive “Paint-by-Numbers,” and many other activities. Tickets for the event are $125 per person and include open bar, heavy hors d’oeuvres and all activities and entertainment.

The True Blue Do is more than a party you don’t want to miss – it’s a great cause as well. Proceeds from the event will be used to support CVI’s life-changing programs and services that support Georgians of all ages, from babies to seniors, who are dealing with vision loss. CVI’s mission is to empower people who are impacted by vision loss to live with independence and dignity. In fact, the group is the only one in Georgia that provides vision rehabilitation services to visually impaired individuals of all ages.

Mark your calendar now for this delightful and important fundraiser. You or your business can even sign up as a sponsor for the evening if you’re looking for a great cause and a great time.
