Tony joined Network 1 in 2010 as the company’s eighth employee. In his role as VP of sales & marketing, he is responsible for hiring, managing and coaching the sales team and always staying on top of (and meeting) the needs of clients. Under his leadership, the company has steadily grown each year. His previous roles have included a variety of positions at IBM, a partner at a strategic consulting firm, and now over a decade at Network 1. In every position, he pulled upon his skills developing business and people as well as implementing and executing successful growth strategies.
He is actively involved in Atlanta’s business community, including as a member and sponsor of the Atlanta Association of Legal Professionals, Executive Sales & Management Association, Technology Association of Georgia, and Vistage. Tony is also occasionally asked to speak to various business associations and groups.
Originally from Corry, Pennsylvania (which he lovingly refers to as Pennsyltucky), Tony now calls Alpharetta home with his wife, Luann. The Rushins are firm believers in giving back and are active supporters of Mission of Hope and the Lighthouse Family Retreat. He graduated from Penn State with a master’s degree in mechanical engineering. In his free time, he enjoys hiking, reading and is quite the bourbon connoisseur, hosting his own bourbon club.
