If you’ve grown tired of working on a Mac and want to make a switch to a PC, here’s how you can make the move easily.
Although Macs and Windows PCs use different file systems, most file types can be moved between the operating systems. It’s really a matter of moving the data from your Mac to your new PC. There are a couple ways to do it.
- Use an external storage device, like a USB or external hard drive to copy data from your MAC and Windows PC. For the most efficient compatibility, format the drive with an exFAT file system.
- Transfer files using a cloud service. If you don’t have many large files, like videos, this is the best option for you. All you need is an internet connection and a file service such as OneDrive or Dropbox.
Now you can easily switch from your Mac to a Windows PC.
