Are you having trouble wirelessly connecting to the Internet at home? If so, start troubleshooting by plugging an Ethernet cable into both your computer and router or modem. If the Internet works, then you know the issue is with your wireless adapter.
If it still doesn’t work, the issue is likely one of two things: 1) The Internet isn’t getting to your house and you need to call your provider, or 2) You may have a software issue on your computer, which we can help you troubleshoot.
If you are not sure if you have an Ethernet cable, look where you store your Internet provider’s paperwork and original equipment, and hopefully you will find it there. Below is a picture of an Ethernet cable in case you’re not familiar.
