As a Desktop Engineer, Shawntia “Tia” Simms, plays a pivotal role in providing top-notch service to clients. Hailing from Washington, D.C., Tia’s passion for technology and continuous learning has propelled her into the tech world. With a CompTIA A+ license and the distinction of being Valedictorian in her Per Scholas cohort, Tia’s expertise is undeniable. Not to mention, she also received the prestigious Pinnacle and Top in P.R.I.D.E. awards from her time at Sprint.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Tia believes in the power of humor and connection. Whether she’s troubleshooting software issues for clients or cracking a joke to lighten the mood, Tia is always ready to make things better. Tia is a proud dog-mom to two adorable yorkies who, she confesses, are spoiled just like human babies. When she’s not busy at work, Tia cherishes spending time with her loved ones.
