Our Team

Kate is Network 1’s controller where she oversees daily accounting operations and helps guide the company’s strategic financial decisions. She joined Network 1 with more than 16 years of exceptional experience in a variety of roles at companies and non-profits including KPMG, Emory University and the Forward Arts Foundation.

Accounting wasn’t Kate’s first choice of major while attending Bucknell University; she originally wanted to be a dentist. However, like many others, organic chemistry didn’t agree with her, and she changed her major to business and thoroughly enjoyed her accounting coursework. She went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Accounting. In her free time, she is an active member of the National Charity League, a philanthropic organization for mothers and daughters to volunteer together at various charities in the Atlanta area.

Born in England, Kate moved to the U.S. in the middle of her junior year of high school. She still has family in both Ireland and England that she tries to visit every few years. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, baking, walking and reading as well as spending time with her husband and three children.
