Tuesday Tip: Take an iPhone Photo Using a Voice Command

Group of people smiling Have you ever wanted to take a photo without having to hold your iPhone? Ever tried to take a group photo, but the person holding the iPhone to take the picture was left out? Here’s a solution to your problems: set up a Voice Command and take hands-free photos!

To set up a Voice Command:

Go to Settings
Click Accessibility
Tap Voice Control (make sure it is On)
Go to Customize Commands
Create a New Command
Write in your command (“say cheese”)
Hit Action
Click Run a Custom Gesture
Tap your finger on the phone where you normally would to take a photo
Save
Go back to New Command
Tap Application
Select Camera
Save

Now you’ll be able to take photos without touching your phone. Give it a try!
