Tuesday Tip: Freeze on an Exact Frame on YouTube

Have you ever needed to freeze an exact frame or image on a YouTube video so you can get the perfect screen shot or simply to look at something more closely?

It is easier than you think.

  • Open YouTube on your computer.
  • Find and play the video from which you want to pull a frame.
  • Pause it when you are close to the spot you want to capture.
  • On your keyboard, use the period key to advance one frame at a time, or the comma key to reverse one frame at a time.

Now you can easily get to – and pause on – the desired image quickly.
