Director of Sales

As the Director of Sales for Network 1, Richard identifies “future” clients that can benefit from the support of an experienced, outsourced IT team. He has an uncanny ability to communicate complex technology concepts in easy-to-understand terms, allowing him to connect with nearly every person he meets. He helps clients and prospects find technology solutions they need to achieve better productivity and efficiency so they can focus their attention on making money and growing their respective business.

Richard is graduate of North Carolina State where he received his degree in Business Management. He is an active member of the North Fulton Medical Group Management Association (NFMGMA) and has served on their board. He participates in several business groups in Atlanta such as Just Business and the Business Development Roundtable and he serves as the representative for Network 1 with the Associated Builders and Contractors of Georgia (ABC). In addition, Richard has been interviewed and quoted as a healthcare IT expert in Physicians Practice, American Medical News and MedicalOfficeToday. He has spoken before several medical and legal associations throughout Atlanta, including the NFMGMA, the North Metro Medical Managers Association, the Atlanta Association of Legal Administrators and PowerCore. (View his full speaker bio here.)

This father of three was born in Harrogate, North Yorkshire, England and now lives across the pond in Roswell, GA. He is very involved with his church, North Point Community Church, and in his spare time he enjoys soccer, outdoors and spending time with his kids.

  • He’s a rabid Liverpool FC fan – the best football (soccer) club in the world – according to him.
  • His favorite cartoon is Calvin and Hobbes.
  • His family moved to Kobe Japan when he was a baby where they lived there for two years. His first attempted words were in Japanese.
  • He went skydiving once and popped his eardrum and said he won’t do that again.
  • He’d love to travel to New Zealand and Australia if given the opportunity to go anywhere.
