Office scanner broken again? News flash: you don’t need it! You can use your iPhone to easily capture and send high-quality images with the built-in document scanning feature in your Notes app. As a bonus, you can also annotate your documents, organize them into folders, and share via email or messaging apps. In addition, the Notes app seamlessly integrates with iCloud, so your scanned documents are securely stored and accessible across all your Apple devices.

How to scan a document using the Notes app:

  • Open Notes and select a note or create a new one.
  • Tap the Camera button, then tap Scan Documents.
  • Place your document in view of the camera.
  • If your device is in Auto mode, your document will automatically scan.
  • If you need to manually capture a scan, tap the Shutter button or press one of the Volume buttons. Then drag the corners to adjust the scan to fit the page and tap Keep Scan.
  • Tap Save or add additional scans to the document.

Enhance your productivity and collaboration on the go by using the iPhone Notes app.
