Tuesday Tip: New Tabs Save You Time

When I am doing research online I try to use new tabs for the websites I find so that I do not lose track of my search results.  It is inconvenient and frustrating when I click a link and lose my place on the results page, then I must go back and rescan the page to find where I left off.  To create a new tab you can right click on the link and then scroll down to the “create new tab” option.  While this method certainly works it can be a little tedious and slow; however we have a faster option.  You can hold the control button and click the link to open a new tab.  This method is much faster and natural to use.  This can speed up the number of tabs you can open from your research page while not losing your place in your search.
