Tuesday Tip:  Meet Me Halfway There

A few months ago, I was going to meet a family member halfway between my home in Kennesaw and theirs in Augusta so my daughter could spend some time with relatives. Finding a good halfway point meant neither side had to drive more than the other. The question arose, how do I find a good midway meeting point, if I don’t normally drive to Augusta?

My problem was solved when I discovered Meetways. This site is easy to use too. All you have to do is:

  • Go to the Meetways home page.
  • Enter your address, town or city and then enter the other person’s address, town or city.
  • Set up any options to help with your route and the kind of establishment where you would like to meet (i.e., gas station, hotel, restaurant, etc.).
  • Click go.

The site will do some calculations to determine the best meeting location(s) based on your requests. It will also provide various options so you can determine what will work best for you.

This isn’t the only website that can assist you with a meeting point, but it does seem like a good one. I would love to hear feedback if you are taking an adventure somewhere and decide to use it. Safe travels!
