Tuesday Tip: Do You Know Who Else Is on your Computer?

Here’s a quick way to find out who else has an account on your Microsoft Windows computer.

On your keyboard hit the “Windows key” + “R” at the same time. In the box that pops up, type in “netplwiz” and hit “enter.”

This will show you all the accounts that are active on your computer.

If this is a work computer, you shouldn’t be surprised to see some sort of Network Administrator account along with your name. If you see more than that you should contact your IT team and ask them to look into who any other users are.

If this is for your personal computer, and you see any accounts you don’t recognize, contact an IT person right away as there is a chance that your computer has been hacked.
