Tuesday Tip: How to Screen Shot an Article & Save it to Your iPhone

woman on phoneWhen I’m on my iPhone, I often run across articles I want to save. Articles longer than one page require me to take multiple screen shots and save them as photos. It’s a real pain to reconstruct the article later across multiple photos, so I rarely do this and miss out on the juicy content.

Happily, I’ve discovered a much easier way to save an article.

Open the article you’d like to save and Screenshot it. After you take a screenshot, a thumbnail will appear in the bottom left-hand corner of your screen. Tap on the screenshot, then tap Full Page at the top right of your screen. You will see the entire article on the far-right side of the screen. You can scroll through the article from here without having to take multiple screenshots.

If you’d like to save the article, tap Done in the upper left-hand corner of the screen. Tap Save PDF to Files at the bottom of the screen. You can now decide where you’d like to save the article. Happy reading!
