Are you an artist at heart but maybe not in skill? DALL·E 2 is an image generator that uses the OpenAI generative tools, the same AI behind much-talked-about ChatGPT.

With DALL·E 2, you can generate unique images based on the descriptive text you enter. Choose from different art styles that you’d like your image to be, such as “oil painting of cat eating spaghetti,” and it will give you four different visual interpretations of that description. I learned the key is to be as descriptive as possible without going overboard.

You can create a free DALL-E 2 account which gives you 50 image generation credits, then you receive an additional 15 free credits each month. If you’re really into it, you can buy 115 more credits for $15.
