Network 1 Announces Leadership Transition: Stuart Rose Named President, David Gracey Moves to CEO

David Gracey and Stuart Rose

Network 1 Consulting has announced a leadership transition designed to support the company’s continued growth and long-term future. Stuart Rose has been promoted to President, becoming only the second person in Network 1’s history to hold the role. Founder David Gracey will transition from President to Chief Executive Officer.

Stuart has been with Network 1 since 2002, when he joined the company as its fourth employee. Over more than two decades, he has played a major role in shaping the company’s systems, culture and client experience. Most recently, as Vice President of Engineering, he has focused on developing teams, improving processes and helping clients get the most from their technology through proactive service and strategic guidance.

“Stuart has been a driving force behind most of Network 1’s growth and evolution,” said David. “He has implemented new initiatives, such as EOS, that have changed how we work at a fundamental level. He defined our company Magic, which is Network 1’s commitment to creating unforgettable experiences for employees and customers through exceptional peer and customer service. He’s always shared our belief that technology should do much more than keep client systems running; it should be at the heart of helping clients achieve their business goals. His leadership and vision have already had a lasting impact, and I’m excited to see that influence continue to grow in his new role as President.”

Building on Network 1’s Culture and Client Experience

As President, Stuart will take on broader responsibility for the day-to-day leadership and continued development of Network 1, building on the company’s long-standing focus on strong relationships, exceptional service, and creating a workplace where people can grow.

Network 1 has emphasized those priorities since its founding in 1998, combining technical expertise with a culture centered on taking care of clients and one another.

“Good leadership means helping the people around you become better than they were yesterday. That’s the job now,” said Stuart. “Network 1 has always been a place where people care deeply about doing great work, supporting each other, and taking care of our clients. My job is to build on that while helping our people and the company continue to grow.”

David Gracey Moves into the CEO Role

David, who founded Network 1 in 1998, will move into the CEO role and continue focusing on the company’s vision, strategy, culture, and long-term growth. Under his leadership, Network 1 has grown into a leading Atlanta-based IT services company serving small and mid-sized businesses across industries including legal, healthcare, construction and financial services.

“Hands down, the single largest contributor to our success over the years is our commitment to our company culture and values,” David added. “Being explicit about who we are, having alignment around our goals, and creating a vision for our future allows us to have a home for our people to grow into world-class team members. This is an exciting new chapter for Network 1. I couldn’t be happier to partner with Stuart in this new capacity. We’ve worked together for more than 20 years, and there is no one more capable to lead Network 1 into the future.”

As Network 1 enters this next chapter, the leadership roles may be changing, but the company’s focus remains the same: taking care of its people, delivering exceptional service to clients, and helping businesses get more from their technology.
