Tuesday Tip: Three Quick Ways to Save on Flights

It’s time to start planning your summer travel, and here are three quick ways that I use to save on airfare.

  1. Fly on the cheap days of the week: Booking flights for Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday can save you an average of 12%.
  2. Go Incognito: Have you ever search online for the cheap flights, only to discover the price of the fare increased when you returned later to book it? Incognito mode allows you to search for fares without being tracked. (And in case you aren’t familiar with entering incognito mode, here’s a primer.)
  3. Avoid airline sites: Rather than going directly to your preferred airline’s site, use Google Flights or Skyscanner to find the best deals.

Enjoy your trip knowing you got the cheapest airfare and with a little extra money in your pocket for sightseeing. Don’t forget to send me a postcard!
