Have you ever wanted to quickly show someone how to do something on the computer? It is possible to do this with little hassle, using Windows Steps Recorder App. The Steps Recorder is a native Windows 10 app that allows you to easily capture/screenshot any information on your computer screen. It also will document what was done for extra clarity. I am a very visual person and found that we as human beings all have a different way of explaining things. I was able to eliminate confusion by using Steps Recorder.
Navigate to the start menu on your PC, and type “Steps Recorder” to locate/run the app. Click on the icon for Steps Recorder to run the application
Once you run the app, you’ll see the following window populate.
The explanation of snipping options are as follows:
- Click the start Record button to record your task.
- Click the stop record when you are finished.
- Click the save button.
The file saved can be opened with your browser and can be sent via email. It will list out the steps you took as well as helpful images.
