Have you ever sent an email that you wish you could take back? Whether it was written in haste, you’ve found a mistake, or accidentally replied to all, there have been times I’ve wanted to retrieve an email to modify it. If you have a Gmail account, now you can!
First, Click on the Settings button in the right corner of your page.
Once you click on Account Settings, choose Delegate Access.
Next, check the box next to Enable Undo Send and choose the Send cancellation period. Google offers 10, 20, or 30 seconds . I chose 30 to give me the longest amount of time to retrieve a message.
Once this is completed, click Save Changes at the bottom of the screen.
Now when you send an email, the following appears at the top of the screen. If you click on Undo it will reopen the email for you to make changes or delete.
