Buying a car can be very exciting. However, it has the potential to evolve into a stressful situation. Are you going to buy new or used? Practical or luxurious? How luxurious? What features are you willing to sacrifice for your specific price point?
All of these questions should be answered before you buy. Fortunately, there is a mobile app, Car Gurus, that is here to help with those questions. Car Gurus is an app that allows you to search for any car you can think of within your buying radius. It serves as a complete online marketplace for both dealers and sellers. If you find a car you are interested in, you can call the dealership or seller directly from the app.
Personally, I first discovered the app while looking for a new truck. The truck I wanted (with all the bells and whistles) came in at 3 different dealerships around $42,000. I found the same exact truck with all the features I coveted for under $30,000 because it had 15,000 miles on it. I saved myself over $12,000 and got exactly what I wanted with the guidance of Car Gurus.
Buying New or Used? Doesn’t matter, this app has you covered.
Once you download the app, it is easy to begin your search. First type in the Make and Model of the car followed by the Zip Code in which you want to search. A list will populate with all the available cars near you.
Next, click on Filters. Here is where you search for the cool little extras you desire in order to ride in style. You can also search for specific car specs such as engine type, suspension and transmission.
That’s it from me! Go check out Car Gurus and good luck finding the car of your dreams!
