Top 5 Law Firm IT Trends for 2012

by Tony Rushin

Richard’s recent blog inspired me to consider my own New Year’s resolutions. I decided that getting organized was top on this year’s list.

As I started organizing my emails, I came across several articles on IT trends. Here are five that law firms should take note of in 2012:

  1. Tablets
  2. Cloud Computing
  3. Virtualization
  4. Additional Client Service-Oriented Products
  5. Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity

Another one of my New Year’s resolutions is to keep up with Richard. So, I plan to write a blog on each of the above trends.  Check back in the new year to see if I’m able to keep up!

Network 1 Consulting is a 13-year-old, IT Support company in Atlanta, GA.  We become – or augment – the IT department for professional services companies: law firms, medical practices and financial services firms.  Our IT experts can fix computers – but what our clients really value is the industry-specific best practices we bring to their firm.  This is especially important with technology, along with regulations and cyber threats, changing so rapidly.  We take a proactive approach to helping our clients use technology to gain and keep their competitive advantage.
