The Great Suspender. Managing Your Unused Tabs

Ever notice that having a bunch of tabs open in Chrome (or whatever browser you use) affects performance? This is because each open tab uses memory.

A tab suspender extension helps by automatically suspending unused tabs until they are required.

A Chrome extension that you can trust is The Great Suspender (they make Firefox and Safari versions too). Simply Google “The Great Suspender Chrome”, then, after looking to make sure you’re on the Chrome Extension site, click “Add to Chrome”:

Next, you should see the disclaimer shown on the right come into your view. Click “Add Extension”. Don’t worry – you can trust it.

And just like that, you’re done!
