Have you ever found it tedious having to manually change a PowerPoint to slideshow mode before a presentation? Luckily, there is a quick way to start your presentation directly in slideshow mode.
By default, PowerPoint saves a slide presentation as a file with the .pptx extension. When this presentation is launched, it will open inside of PowerPoint in a normal view. However, if you want your presentation to immediately launch as a slideshow, all you have to do is save the file as a PowerPoint
1. Choose the “File” tab and select “Save As”
2. Under “File Format” select “PowerPointShow (.ppsx)”
