150+ Legal Administrators and their guests expected on August 17th
by Tony Rushin
The Atlanta Chapter of the Association of Legal Administrators (AALA) was officially founded in 1977 and is now a vibrant organization with over 220 members and has earned the highest distinction – Platinum – in the national ALA organization’s Presidents’ Award of Excellence for the last 10 years!
The AALA’s mission is to improve the quality of management in legal services organizations; promote and enhance the competence and professionalism of legal administrators and all members of the management team; and represent professional legal management and managers to the legal community and to the community at large. In addition, one of their key goals is to foster professional alliances with their business partners.
Network 1 has been involved with the AALA for less than 1 year although we’ve been helping law firms with their IT support needs since we started in 1998 (in fact law firms, along with medical practices, represent our largest set of clients). In our short experience with the AALA it’s clear to us that their members sincerely work to put their mission into practice and truly welcome and treat their business partners like true partners.
To celebrate the AALA’s 23rd annual Business Partner Expo, I am going to write 23 blogs – all focused on IT problems, concerns, solutions and tips relevant for law firms – between now and 3:00 pm on August 17th. Network 1 is proud to be a member of the AALA and is looking forward to participating in the Business Partner Expo next month!
This is the 1st of 23 blogs I’m writing to celebrate the Atlanta Association of Legal Administrators’ 23rd annual Business Partner Expo. This year the Business Partner Expo will be held from 3:00 – 6:30 pm on August 17th at the Cobb Galleria. Over 150 legal administrators and their guests are expected to be on hand learning about the latest technologies, finding solutions to business issues, uncovering emerging trends and developing valuable partnerships to help their law firms. Already an AALA member? I’ll see you there! Not an AALA member? Give me a call at 404.943.0800 x133 to discuss how you might be able to go as a guest!
